A storm system is expected to impact the Midwest Tuesday night into Wednesday. According to the National Weather Service, a significant storm system is expected leading up to Thanksgiving on a line west of Dubuque southwest to Oskaloosa. A dusting of snow is expected along that line with higher snow amounts north and west of Waterloo. Also, widespread high winds from 30 to 50 miles per hour are in the forecast for eastern Iowa. Those winds will create difficult driving conditions, including greatly reduced visibility where the snow falls. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
