A new kind of fundraiser is coming to the Sigourney School District. The Sigourney Parent Teacher Organization is giving you a chance to “Duct Tape the Principal”. You can purchase a strip of duct tape for just $5 with no limit to the number of strips that can be purchased. The funds go toward PTO after school events like Spaghetti with Grandparents, Pizza for Pops, Bowling with the Boys, Belle of the Ball and more. If the group raises at least $1,500 for the event they will tape Sigourney elementary school principal Deanna Hutchings to the wall during a school-wide assembly on December 20th.
