There is one week left of work for the Washington leaf vacuum. The final day the vacuum will be picking up leaves in the city is December 6th. Leaves should be placed in the terrace areas between sidewalks and streets and crews will come by to pick them up. Do not put leaves in the street, as it can create drainage and traffic hazards. It will be in the northwest quadrant on Monday, the southwest on Tuesday, the southeast on Wednesday, and the northeast Thursday, and Friday will be a make up day to get those that were missed.
