The roof has been installed on the new Washington County Communications and Emergency Operations Center. A crane has been on the site next to the sheriff’s office on Lexington Boulevard to install the roof. The total cost of the building that will hold the county’s emergency dispatchers and their new equipment, as well as an emergency operations center, is $3.6 million. The building is set to be complete in June 2020.
