An effort to brighten the holidays for high school students is underway in Washington. The Morale Committee at Washington High School is putting together gift bags for teenagers in need. Erin Smith with the committee tells KCII News that anyone in the community can donate items to help fill the gift bags. She says to think of stocking stuffers; they’re still looking for snacks, lotions, hats, gloves, adult coloring books, lip balm, and water bottles. Donations need to be dropped off at the high school office by December 13th. Last year, about 150 high school students received gifts.
