A new advocate for local businesses is beginning in Riverside. The City of Riverside is now home to a new chamber of commerce. The city has not had an active chamber since 1983. The effort is led by former city administrator Rusty Rogerson. Rogerson spoke with city representatives during the November 18th council meeting. Council voted to support the group. Their first event will be the Christmas Tree Walk December 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd at Copper Ridge Creek. The group plans to meet quarterly or as necessary.
