Firefighters from three departments were called to a home in Pleasant Plain Saturday morning for a fire. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 9:42 a.m. a home on fire was called in to authorities. The fire was at 101 Market Street. Brighton, Fairfield, and Richland Fire Departments responded to the scene and put out the flames. At 6:50 p.m. Saturday, the fire rekindled and firefighters responded to address the issue. Flames were again seen as the fire had rekindled again at 10:45 p.m. that night and the Brighton Fire Department extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported.
