The veterans then took over with senior Matt Collett winning by a 12-0 major at 120 lbs, Brandon Dickel pinned his opponent at 132 lbs (1:06), Justin Simmering by fall (0:59) at 138 lbs, and Dillan Sanders with a 15-3 major at 145 lbs. Other contested match winners included Logan Frazer at 152 lbs by fall (3:01), Ayden Frazier at 160 lbs by an 8-0 major, and Jacob Hill at 170 lbs by fall (1:30).

The competition got steeper against the Tigers with Grinnell winning eight of 11 contested matches. Demon winners included Matt Collett at 120 lbs by fall (1:03), Ayden Frazer at 160 lbs by a 9-2 decision, and Brayden Hartman at 285 lbs by fall (1:18).
