The Washington and Burlington basketball teams will meet up for the first time tonight as part of the same conference with the girls hosting the Bloodhounds and the boys hitting the road.

The Demon girls (2-2) will look to build off of a 52-46 win over Centerville on Monday where they outscored the Redettes 31-16 in the final half. Addison Six had 16 points with Anna Nacos recording 15. The Bloodhounds are 0-2 and last fell to Keokuk 55-37.

The Washington boys are 2-1 after routing Fairfield 69-32 last week. Kasen Bailey paced the team with 11.3 points a night and Ethan Hunt has 10. Burlington is 1-1 and picked up their first win in a 61-59 two overtime thriller over Keokuk. Brendon Hale is a player to look out for with 12 points a game.
