Local Department of Natural Resources authorities are reaching out to prospective minority hunters in the Columbus Junction area. The Columbus Junction Library will host hunter’s safety courses in four different languages during the months of January and February in partnership with Tyson Foods. The classes will be held in English, Spanish, Chin and French. They will be offered January 24th and 31st and February 7th from 6-9 p.m. each evening. In order to be certified, hunters must attend all three sessions.
