The Mid-Prairie School Board nominated a new board president and vice president at their most recent meeting. Marianne Schlabach was nominated to serve as president of the board for the 2019-20 school year, and Jeremy Pickard was nominated to serve as vice president for the same time period. Schlabach replaces Pickard who was president during the previous school year while Pickard replaces Schlabach who served as vice president during the year prior. Both Schlabach and Pickard  were unanimously accepted for the positions. School board secretary Jeff Swartzentruber administered the oaths of office. They are each serving terms on the board that expire in 2023.
