The annual instrumental holiday concert returns to Washington High School this week. The Demon band will feature jazz solos from Audrey Wubbena, Chris Wallerich, German Ramirez, Sarah Newman, and John Flannery. Director Don Hughes tells KCII News that much of the show remains the same, but this year a skit will be performed. Also, a percussion ensemble piece called “Men at Work” will return to the stage, which hasn’t been performed for about 15 years. The holiday band concert starts at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Washington High School Auditorium.
