A vehicle rolled approximately three times in a crash about one mile east of Wayland Monday. According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, at 5:18 a.m. the wreck was reported in the 1400 grid of Highway 78. It was found that 24-year-old Brandin Lee Bromell of Lockridge was eastbound on Highway 78 when a vehicle going westbound crossed the centerline. Bromell swerved to miss the vehicle and drove onto the south shoulder of the road. The vehicle then went into the ditch, struck a farm field drive, and rolled three times.

Bromell was pinned in the vehicle and had to be extracted by Wayland First Responders. He was transported to the Henry County Health Center with suspected minor injuries.

The vehicle that Bromell said crossed the centerline was not located or identified. Brommel was cited for failure to provide proof of financial liability.
