An employee for more than 40 years with the City of Washington has retired. At Tuesday’s Washington City Council meeting Mayor Jaron Rosien presented a plaque to Fred Doggett, “Ladies and gentlemen, Fred Doggett is retiring after 41 years of service and it is my honor to say congratulations.” He has served as the wastewater plant superintendent. Doggett said, “It was a good run.”
