The Washington grapplers hit the road and hit the mat tonight at Keokuk for a triangular.

Illini West out of Illinois will also join the Demons and Chiefs. Washington has a 7-4 dual record and a handful of guys competed at tournaments over the weekend. Ayden Frazer continued his hot start to the season with a first place finish at 160 lbs in the Mount Vernon Invitational. Keokuk has a 2-2 dual record including beating Mount Pleasant 40-39 last week. Dylan Jeffers leads the way with a 7-2 record at 182 lbs and Tristyn O’Connor is 9-3 at 220 lbs. Demon head coach Brent Van Weelden expects a challenge from Keokuk. “They have some other solid guys in the middle weights and they are an improved program. Coach Rose has been there a long time and he has some good wrestlers in his lineup right now.”
