A woman is being held on $100,000 bond after being arrested in Brighton. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 9:33 a.m. Thursday a search warrant was executed in the 200 block of East Main Street in Brighton. Washington County Sheriff’s personnel along with Keokuk County deputies went to the property. Authorities arrested 33-year-old Caitlin Ashely Seriguchi. She was wanted out of Illinois for escape. Extradition arrangements are being made. She also has local charges for interference and possession of a controlled substance.

In July, the Galesburg, Illinois Police Department posted on its Facebook page a request for the public’s help in locating Seriguchi who was wanted for felony escape.
