Now that Christmas has passed, residents of Washington have a couple of options to dispose of their live Christmas trees. Maintenance and Construction Superintendent for the City of Washington JJ Bell tells KCII News that starting January 2nd a tree disposal site will be set up in Central Park. Residents will be able to drop off their trees on the southeast corner of the park from January 2nd to the 10th. Also, residents can place them on the corners of their block to be picked up. Avoid putting them near fire hydrants.
