The Hillcrest Academy boys basketball team will be on the court Monday, sharpening their skills with a scrimmage against Benton Community on the road. The Ravens come into the scrimmage with a 3-3 record on the year, beating Winfield-Mt. Union last time out 59-45 behind 14 points from Eli Ours. On the season Ours leads the Ravens scoring 20 points per game. He is also the team leader with 25 assists. Kobe Borntrager has the team lead with 40 rebounds. Hillcrest also had a scrimmage on Saturday against Keota.

Benton comes into the break with an overall record of 3-4. The class 3A Bobcats closed out the first half of the year with a 53-48 win over Vinton-Shellsburg on December 20th. For the season Benton is led by Grant Embretson at 12 points per game. He is also the team leader with 46 rebounds. Brady Sadler leads the team with 23 assists.
