Rain and fog were experienced across the KCII-listening area this weekend. According to the National Weather Service, Washington received just over an inch of precipitation, as did Riverside, Kalona, Iowa City, and Columbus Junction. The highest 24-hour precipitation mark recorded was 1.5 inches in Keosauqua. A dense fog advisory was in place Saturday evening with visibility at less than one mile.

Heading into 2020, mostly sunny skies are in the forecast with high temperatures ranging from the mid-30s to the mid-40s this week. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
