Daunte Oepping’s athleticism showed on the gridiron this fall and its translated to the basketball court this winter, as the Winfield-Mt. Union senior has done it all for the Wolves.

The 6’0’’guard has shown the natural ability to get his teammates involved, as his 40 assists through seven games ranks seventh in class 1A. He can dish out the scoring and also find the back of the net himself, as his 12.7 points a night leads the team. The contributions don’t stop there, as his 15 steals is a team-high and 43 rebounds ranks second.

WMU is 2-5 and starts the second half of the season Friday against Lone Tree.
