The city of Kalona has spent the latter half of 2019 working on repairs and enhancements of water system infrastructure. Work has been completed by Maxwell Construction of Iowa City on the Sixth Street and Seventh Street main replacement project. The C Avenue reconstruction project with work done by All-American Concrete of West Liberty is also coming to a conclusion. The C Avenue project totals just over $156,000. 02
