The final meeting of 2019 for the Washington County Conservation Board included a recap of completed projects for the department from Executive Director Zach Rozmus. The new shelter at the Fern Cliff Conservation area has been completed and a latrine tank has been set. The next phase of the project will be to replace the concrete wall along the driving route with something more aesthetically pleasing that will still serve as a barrier. New flooring has been installed at Steinbeck Hall on the Marr Park campus. The main office for the conservation board is also under remodel. Rozmus said that project is on pace to be finished by the end of January.
