Thousands of pancakes will be flipped this week for the Washington Fire Department’s annual fundraiser. The tradition includes two options for people to fill up on fried eggs, sausage patties, and unlimited pancakes with either lunch or supper. Last year nearly 2,000 meals were served. This will be the first year for Pancake Day to be in the newly constructed fire station. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and dinner will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, January 8th. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased in advance from Washington fire fighters.
