An Iowa City man wanted on multiple warrants for burglary and theft was arrested in Washington Sunday. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 1:21 p.m. an officer located the man in the 300 block of East 5th Street. Authorities arrested 36-year-old Juan Carlos Orozco.
He had three Washington County warrants including burglary in the second degree and theft in the third degree. Bond was set at $12,000 for those charges. He was also wanted on a second warrant for trespassing. Those stem from an incident that happened in Kalona on September 5, 2017. And the third warrant was for burglary in the third degree – motor vehicle and theft in the third degree from an incident that happened on August 9, 2018 when a theft from a vehicle was reported in Riverside.
He also has charges out of Muscatine County. Orozco was taken to the Muscatine County Jail.
