Five Lone Tree School District students got the opportunity of a lifetime as they traveled to Costa Rica for a J-Term trip. Students of Susan Soupiset’s Spanish class and some parent chaperones traveled to Costa Rica for a week filled with visits to historical landmarks. Lone Tree students get the opportunity every January to take a course that provides them with unique, but meaningful learning opportunities, says Lone Tree Principal Regan Stone. The students are expected to return this weekend and resume normal class work.
