Six months ago, ground was broken and this week a ribbon was cut for a new office building in downtown Washington. The Washington Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Allen Mitchell CPA and Hospice Compassus at their new offices. Tuesday the grand opening was held at the brick building with large windows, which sits on the corner of East 2nd Street and 2nd Avenue, the former site of Red Bear Daycare. The former building was torn down and in July the construction project officially began with a groundbreaking ceremony.
