Taste and judge cinnamon rolls and chili at the Ainsworth Opera House this weekend. The Ainsworth Community Center Opera House is holding its first chili and cinnamon roll community cook off with a performance by Abe Miller and Friends. Those who want to participate in the community cook off have to prepare a pot of slow cooker chili or a pan of cinnamon rolls and bring these items to the Opera House by 2 p.m. Sunday.

The Opera House is located at 284 Main Street in Ainsworth. There will be cash prizes for entrants with the winners being announced at the event at 6:30 p.m. Freewill offering will be available to eat until supplies last.
