The Hillcrest Academy boys and girls basketball teams make the long road trip to Danville on Friday to meet the Bears. The Raven girls come into the game with an overall record of 1-10 after a 56-18 loss to Highland. Yani Gutierrez led the way for the Ravens in the loss with eight points and eight boards. Danville comes into the game with an overall record of 3-7. The Bears fell to Central Lee on Tuesday 53-24. For the season Danville is led by Isabella Smith at 13 points per game. Ava Smith has 29 assists and 77 rebounds both team bests.

The Raven boys enter the contest standing at 4-5 after a 65-58 loss to Highland Tuesday. Eli Ours led the way in that game with 23 points. On the year Ours leads the Ravens with 19 points per game, 31 assists and 20 steals. Kobe Borntrager is best on the glass with 56 boards.

Danville enters the contest with an overall record of 4-6. The got by Central Lee 64-60 on Tuesday. On the season Ty Carr paces Danville at 16 points, 31 assists and 20 steals. Taylor Kennsett is best on the glass with 58 boards. These two teams met twice a season ago, splitting the two matchups with Hillcrest winning in Kalona 58-52 and the Bears winning a neutral site game at Highland 64-63.
