An exciting triangular meet took place at Burlington Notre Dame on Thursday and Columbus Community/Winfield-Mt. Union seized two more dual wins including one that went down to the wire.

The Wildcats handled Louisa-Muscatine 45-25 and then edged the Nikes 37-36 after Cam Rice won the final match of the dual at 152 lbs by a close 9-7 decision. Rice won his other match by a 10-3 decision. Brody Barton also won both of his contested matches by fall in a combined 5:03. Lane Scorpil picked up a win at 106 lbs, Robert Loveless at 182 lbs, and Chance Malone at 220 lbs.

The Wildcats are back at it tomorrow at the Gary Curtis Invite.
