The Mid-Prairie wrestling team made their longest conference road trip of the year on Thursday when they traveled to Camanche for and RVC quad meet against the Indians, Bellevue and Northeast Goose Lake.
The Hawks knocked off the Comets 48-30. Mid-Prairie got wins in contested matches from Noah Ford at 126 by fall, Mason Hartley at 160 by 5-2 decision, Cael Garvey at 170 by 5-0 decision, and Isaac Boucher at 195 by fall.
Mid-Prairie beat the Goose Lake Rebels 60-9. The Hawks got wins in contested matches from Clarke Latcham at 138lbs by fall, Vinnie Bowlin at 152 by fall, Cael Garvey at 170 by fall, Cory Allen at 182 by 10-5 decision and Gannon Callahan at 285 by fall.
Mid-Prairie took their only loss on the night at the hands of Camanche 51-30. The Golden Hawks got wins in contested matches from Cael Garvey at 170 by fall, Isaac Boucher at 195 by fall, Caleb Vercande at 220 by fall and Gannon Callahan at 285 by fall. After the 2-1 night the Golden Hawks have a 7-5 overall record.
