No girls’ basketball team has triumphed over Burlington Notre Dame this season, but Washington has hopes of changing that this evening when the Demons host the Nikes for a non-conference matchup.

After a postponement on Friday, the Demons haven’t been in action since last Monday when they fell to Muscatine 44-24. Washington is 5-4 and has four players averaging at least six points a night led by Addison Six with 9.8. Notre Dame is a perfect 10-0 out of the Southeast Iowa Super Conference and a big reason why is their defense that gives up just 34 points a game. Rylie Todd and Katy Stephens average double figures with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

All of the action begins at 7:45 p.m. in Washington and listen to it all on FM 106. 1 KCII.
