A road project near Premier 1 Supplies, a recycling update, and an ambulance advisory committee report will be discussed at the next Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting. A project agreement for a RISE project will be discussed with Washington County Engineer Jacob Thorius. Last year, the county was awarded a $250,00 grant to help fund paving roads near Premier 1 Supplies. The total project estimate is $1.7 million. WEDG Director David Collins explained that if the county had zoning in place, they would’ve been able to ask for up to half of the project cost. The work will include paving portions of 300th Street, Kiwi Avenue, and 290th Street southwest of Washington. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Washington County Courthouse.
