A reconfiguring of the schedule has both the Washington boys and girls in action tonight against separate schools.

In a makeup from Friday’s postponement, the Demon boys will make the anticipated trip to Keokuk with first place in the Southeast Conference on the line. The cancellation bug has hit Washington hard, as they have been off for 13 days and finally look to improve on their 7-2 overall and 4-0 conference mark. After dropping their first two games, the Chiefs have rallied off nine straight wins and hold a 3-1 record in league play. Anthony Potratz is the engine that goes offensively averaging 18 points a night.

The girls will make up their game with Keokuk tomorrow, but they have their sights set on hosting Louisa-Muscatine this evening. The Demons are 6-4 overall and coming off of a 49-44 win against previously undefeated Burlington Notre Dame last Monday. The Falcons are 9-3 with sisters Kylee and Hailey Sanders combining for 30 points an evening.

Listen to the originally scheduled girls game on FM 106.1 KCII with tip starting at 7:45 p.m. from Washington High School.
