A double dual split was the result for the Sigourney-Keota wrestling team on Thursday night in a home triangular.

The Cobras fell to BGM 45-33, but finished strong to beat Lynnville-Sully 60-6. Sigourney-Keota was victorious in three of seven contested matches against the Bears getting wins out of Dan McLaughlin at 120 lbs by fall (5:50), Trent Hendricks at 138 lbs by a wild 18-16 decision, and Jack Clarahan at 152 lbs by fall (1:13). The Cobras took care of business in all four contested matches against the Hawks with McLaughlin, Hendricks, and Clarahan all picking up their second win of the night with pins. Evan Dawson also had his hand raised at 132 lbs with a fall (3:25).

The Cobras return to action tomorrow at Albia.
