The first set of rankings for women’s wrestling in the 2019-2020 high school season have been released by iawrestle.com and Mid-Prairie is represented. Golden Hawk sophomore Rylee Vercande is at No. 7 in the 126lb weight division. So far this season, she has posted a 9-8 overall record. Her best tournament of the year came on December 16th at Iowa City, City High where she went 3-0 with all wins coming by fall over wrestlers from North Cedar, Dubuque Senior and Waverly-Shellrock.
