Following Friday’s flurries, mostly sunny skies are expected across the KCII listening area this weekend. Temperatures are expected to warm up to 41 degrees on Sunday. At this time last year, temperatures fell to 22 degrees below zero with wind chill making it feel like 60 below. After Sunday’s sunny skies, there’s a chance for some rain in the area on Monday. The U.S. Drought Monitor shows no areas of drought or abnormally dry conditions in Iowa, and hasn’t since September. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
