Law enforcement officers executed a search warrant in Wayland Friday. According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, at 11:30 a.m. Friday the search warrant was executed. Officers from the sheriff’s office and investigators and crime scene unit personnel with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation worked at the scene in the 100 block of East Main Street. The sheriff’s office stated this is related to an ongoing investigation, but which specific case was not released. The sheriff’s office added there is no threat to the public.
