The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks traveled to Wilton to meet the Beavers on Tuesday. The Golden Hawk boys finished off a season sweep of Wilton with a 51-42 victory. It took a comeback for the Hawks as they fell behind 16-6 in the first quarter. Ethan Trimpe led Mid-Prairie with 12 points, Aidan Rath got to double figures also with 10. With the win, the Golden Hawk boys are now 4-13 on the year.

In the girls contest, the Beavers collected a 54-42 win. Mid-Prairie led 14-12 after one quarter and 24-22 at the break but Wilton wore down the Hawks in the second half, outscoring Mid-Prairie 32-18 after intermission for the victory. Colby Rourke led the Hawks with 12. With the loss, the Hawks fall to 6-12. The Mid-Prairie boys and girls will both be in action Thursday for a makeup doubleheader with Anamosa.
