University of Iowa Health Science students will be rolling into Columbus Junction this Saturday offering free services. Students will be hosting a free mobile clinic where individuals can receive sports and wellness physicals, blood sugar and cholesterol checks, blood pressure checks, and more. Mobile Clinic Coordinator Caleb Fredrickson described the impact the clinic has made in the communities they serve, “It’s been great. The community has been incredibly receptive, and thankful, and receptive for the services we provide. We’ve been thanked about it many times and it’s really good for us to see that what we do is actually doing some good for the people of Columbus Junction.” Fredrickson also added free flu shots will also be available at the event. The clinic will be hosted at the Columbus Junction Senior Center on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
