The Washington Chamber of Commerce is looking for the next Business of the Year and Citizen of the Year. The awards are presented each year at the Washington Greater Business Partnership Annual Dinner. The public can submit nominations for each award for those they feel are deserving of outstanding recognition.

Washington Chamber of Commerce Event Coordinator Alisha Davis says it’s a nice collaboration, “Our Washington greater-business partnership is the Chamber, and Main Street, and WEDG, all three of us join together and we provide this dinner for everyone in the community and the Washington County area, just to recognize outstanding citizens and businesses and individuals. We figure if we partner together, we make it bigger and better.” Each group presents awards.

Last year’s recipients of the Chamber’s Business of the Year and Citizen of the Year were DeLong Construction and Lonny Mulligan, respectively. Click here for the nomination form.
