Ten area wrestlers are preparing to compete at the state meet this week. On Saturday, area wrestlers found success and will next compete in Des Moines. Washington is sending one wrestler, Brayden Hartman (285). Mid-Prairie also has one going to state, Isaac Boucher (195). Highland is sending two, Bryce Thompson (106) and Cael Yeggy (182). Other area wrestlers who will compete at state include Columbus Community/Winfield Mt. Union’s Lane Scorpil (106), Sigourney-Keota’s Mason Dye (126) and Jack Clarahan (152), and three from WACO Jalen Collins (132), Jonah Clark (145), and Jaden Williams (152).
