Nomination papers are now available for the county positions that will be on primary ballots in June. The Washington County Auditor’s Office has the nomination forms available for the primary election on June 2nd. On this election cycle will be the Washington County Auditor and Washington County Sheriff. There will be three seats up for election on the Board of Supervisors; they are districts one, two, and four, which are held by Jack Seward Jr., Bob Yoder, and Stan Stoops. Only voters who live in the supervisor candidate’s district can sign the nomination papers.

The nomination forms must be filed by 5 p.m. March 25th for primary election candidates, and March 20th for all non-party political organizations and nominated by petition candidates who will be on the general election ballot. Those who win in the primaries on June 2nd will then be placed on the general election ballot for November 3rd.
