The Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament begins Thursday. The first round of competition will be Thursday and the finals will be on Saturday. There are 10 area wrestlers who have qualified for the state contest. Representing Washington High School is Brayden Hartman (285). Mid-Prairie is sending Isaac Boucher (195). Highland has two who qualified, Bryce Thompson (106) and Cael Yeggy (182). Other area wrestlers who will compete at state include Columbus Community/Winfield Mt. Union’s Lane Scorpil (106), Sigourney-Keota’s Mason Dye (126) and Jack Clarahan (152), and three from WACO Jalen Collins (132), Jonah Clark (145), and Jaden Williams (152).
