The class 1A boys basketball playoffs get underway tonight in Riverside when the Highland Huskies host the Hillcrest Ravens. Highland comes into the game with an overall record of 18-4. They took a rivalry game win over Lone Tree on February 11th 54-50 with Zack Lasek going double double 17 points and 14 rebounds, Mason McFarland had 14 points. On the season the Huskies are led by Lasek at 17 points per game. He also has the team lead with 225 rebounds. Cole Adamson has dished out 69 assists and has 34 steals.

Hillcrest comes in with an 11-9 overall record. The Ravens rolled HLV on the road last time out 69-37 with Eli Ours putting up 13, Noah Miller 12 and London Schrock 11. On the season the Ravens are led by Ours at 18 points per game. He also leads the team with 77 assists and 56 steals. Kobe Borntrager is best on the glass with 121 boards. These two teams met twice during the regular season with Highland winning 65-58 in Kalona behind 24 points from Zack Lasek while Eli Ours had 23. In Riverside it was the Huskies with a 49-44 win. Lasek put up 18 points in the win, Kobe Borntrager had 21 in the loss.
