The Louisa County Ambulance is looking for the community’s help to raise funds by answering some trivia questions. The department is hosting a trivia night on Saturday in order to raise funds for a new ambulance. Louisa County Ambulance Public Relations Chairperson Aimee Buol told KCII News that their oldest unit is due to be replaced, “Our one truck is very dated, back to 1991. And the box, the part that we work out of, is dated back to the 1980s. It still has the wood panels on the inside. At minimum, a new ambulance rig, that’s the truck and the box included, at minimum is $250,000.” The event will be held at the National Guard Armory in Muscatine. Prices to participate will be $10 per person, or $80 per team. Doors open at 5 p.m. and trivia starts at 6 p.m.
