The Iowa High School State Wrestling meet’s first round of competition is being held today. The meet will have Class 3A at 9 a.m., then Class 2A at 1:30 p.m., and then Class 1A contests at 6 p.m. Ten area wrestlers are competing in the state tournament, they include Washington’s Brayden Hartman (285); Mid-Prairie’s Isaac Boucher (195); Highland’s Bryce Thompson (106) and Cael Yeggy (182); Columbus Community/Winfield-Mt. Union’s Lane Scorpil (106); Sigourney-Keota’s Mason Dye (126) and Jack Clarahan (152); and WACO’s Jalen Collins (132), Jonah Clark (145), and Jaden Williams (152).
