A new thrift store is opening in Washington this weekend and it will help benefit The Lighthouse Center. The Master’s Hand Thrift Store’s grand opening will be this Saturday. Proceeds from the store will help fund The Lighthouse Center, a homeless shelter that opened in Washington in the fall. The Master’s Hand Thrift Store is at 115 South 2nd Avenue in downtown Washington.

The shelter provides breakfast and dinner each day, as well as emergency housing, a food pantry, clothing, and transportation for men, women, and children.
