The Washington County Conservation Board is looking to extend their lease agreement for public use of Crawford Pond. The current lease agreement will end in June, and the board will continue to discuss the agreement in future meetings. The pond is owned by the Crawford family and is leased out to the board for public use. The board currently handles fishery and recreation of the pond and the surrounding area. The cost of maintenance is minimal according to Rozmus.
