The Highland girls basketball team broke out the Windex this season, cleaning the glass all across the Southeast Iowa Superconference. Highland finished with 882 total rebounds as a team, most in the Superconference and ninth most in class 1A. By each side of the ball, they pulled down 558 defensive rebounds, most in the conference, ninth in the state and 324 offensive rebounds, a close second behind Winfield-Mt. Union in the league. Their 38.3 boards per game were eighth in the state. Individually, the Huskies were led by Alyssa Brase with 194 total rebounds, second in the Southeast Iowa Superconference. Abby Stransky was ninth in the league with 135 boards and Kayla Cerny 10th with 133. The Huskies finished with a 6-17 overall record.
