Despite missing the final seven games of the season due to injury, a Washington sophomore still found himself on the Class 3A All Sub-State 5 boys’ basketball team.
Kasen Bailey was the youngest of eight players to be named to the team from a Sub-State that had eight schools. His 13.4 points per game ranked third in the Southeast Conference and his 42.3% clip from long range was second. The sophomore was money at the line shooting 86.7%, dished out 25 assists, and hauled in 25 rebounds.
Bailey helped the Demons to a 14-7 season that included a conference title.
